New firmware is available for the DR750S (1.016) and DR900S (1.011) Series. 

Both introduce an option to turn off the proximity sensor (for those who would like to avoid triggering it by mistake).
The SD Card Failure Alert function will tell you “Check SD card” as soon as the microSD card becomes “write protected”. Prior to this update, the “Check SD card” message only meant that the dashcam could not read the card. With this update, the dashcam also checks that data is written properly. If you still get a “Check SD card” message after formatting the microSD card, contact Customer Support for further troubleshooting (Live chat, call +1 (844) 694-4469 or email at [email protected]).
Finally, you can now connect the Full HD Interior IR or External TRUCK IR cameras to your DR900S-2CH front camera.

   1. Voice (audio) recording On/Off
   2. Manual recording
   3. Off (NEW)

Important:

Make sure to use the latest versions of the BlackVue Viewer and App for full compatibility when installing a new firmware version.

How to upgrade:

Via computer:
Go to the DOWNLOADS page to access the latest firmware and installation instructions.

Via the BlackVue App:
Download the firmware to your mobile device (Menu button  on the app’s Home screen > Firmware download) and do a Firmware Over-The-Air upgrade (BLACKVUE WI-FI > Gear icon  > Firmware upgrade (FOTA)). 
Tip: make sure to download the firmware before you connect to your BlackVue in Wi-Fi (since the BlackVue won’t give you the internet connection necessary to download the firmware). If you are already connected to your BlackVue, then disconnect first, download the firwmare, then connect to the BlackVue’s Wi-Fi again.
