Witnessing the crash

BlackVue user Sadek sent us this footage he captured on his dual-channel fullHD BlackVue dash cam (get BlackVue DR750X-2CH Plus here). He was picking up his kids from school when he witnessed an accident happening just in front of them. He started to drive off when a white van backed up into a VW Golf parked just behind.

The driver was on the phone…

The VW Golf parked there a few seconds before that, and the van driver, distracted by talking on his phone, didn’t notice the other car and bumped into it. Although the damage to the Golf wasn’t severe, Sadek provided the driver with the recording from his BlackVue dash cam. “As can be seen in the video it was a rainy day and I’m actually quite impressed by the clarity of the captured footage,” the BlackVue user said.
