Accident caught in Parking Mode

This full HD BlackVue dash cam footage was sent to us by Amira, whose car was parked for the night. Her BlackVue dash cam was still recording in Parking Mode, though, and it captured an accident that unfolded right in front of her car. When the BlackVue user got to the scene, the two drivers – the black VW Golf and the white Audi – were in the middle of the argument. The Golf driver claimed they were hit from behind by the white Audi.

Dash cam footage shows who was at fault

Upon checking the BlackVue footage, the truth turned out to be quite different. The VW Golf reversed, pretty abruptly, right into the Audi. After getting the file with the BlkackVue dash cam footage, the insurer of the Golf accepted full liability for the accident. If not for the BlackVue footage, it would have been hard for the Audi driver to prove their innocence, as most of the rear-end accidents are automatically blamed on the second car. The Audi driver was very grateful for the footage and promised to get her own BlackVue to protect her car in the future.
