Crashed and walked away

In April of 2023 this BlackVue user was waiting at a red light when suddenly a Nissan Altima in front of her started backing up for no apparent reason. The black car smashed into the BlackVue user’s vehicle, and the culprit stepped out to look over his car and ask the BlackVue user if she was okay. He then proceeded to claim that nothing actually happened and… simply got into his car and left the scene!

Dash cam footage exposes a lie

BlackVue user called the police and thanks to the BlackVue dash cam footage the other driver was quickly tracked down. He even tried to lie and told the police that he exchanged his insurance information during the incident – which was refuted based on the dash cam evidence. The other driver’s insurance was informed about the footage and immediately admitted fault, covering all the expenses.
